Miss Bre –
Miss Bre was first drawn to the world of dance in her preschool years. She was so inspired, that she continued dancing and has trained and competed extensively in tap, jazz, ballet, musical theatre, lyrical and contemporary. Miss Bre’s favourite place is NYC, where she consistently travels to train and take classes under the direction of the various faculty at Broadway Dance Centre and STEPS on Broadway. After many years of training, she began teaching in 2005 and has been sharing her love of dance with her students ever since. She holds her ADAPT teaching certificate for tap and jazz, Acrobatic Arts certificates for teaching acro dance, is a member of the WRDAA (Wild Rose Dance Arts Association) and is also a member of the American Dance Therapy Association (ADTA). She has taken, with great success, her ADAPT jazz and tap exams, her Al Gilbert tap exams (completing tap 8 with highest honours), and some of her RAD ballet exams. In 2007, Miss Bre was awarded with the Heather Simpson Memorial Scholarship, an award for excellence in teaching dance. Along with her dance training, Miss Bre also has her Bachelor of Arts degree with a minor in psychology from STMU, holds her Early Childhood Education Diploma (Level 3), and has her certificates in Handwriting Without Tears, Kindermusik, and Jolly Phonics. Miss Bre believes that our learning journey is never over, and continues to attend professional development courses and classes as much as she can!
Miss Stephanie –
Co-Owner/Infinite Learners Preschool Director
Miss Stephanie has always had a passion for teaching young minds and finds great joy in seeing each child grow into their own unique personality. This is what drove her to complete her Diploma in Early Childhood Education from Mount Royal University, and thus credited her with an Early Childhood Supervisor Certificate (formerly Level 3) through the Government of Alberta. Upon completion of her studies at MRU, Miss Stephanie also completed many business courses in management training at the University of Lethbridge. Miss Stephanie also holds her Jolly Phonics certificate, has experience implementing the Handwriting Without Tears curriculum and is on the ELAA committee (Early Learning and Accreditation and Advocacy). Miss Stephanie also grew up in the dance scene and trained/competed in jazz, tap, ballet, and hip hop. Miss Stephanie is a certified Zumba instructor, and still enjoys sharing her passion for the arts as a guest teacher at IC.
Miss Nicole –
Miss Nicole began her dancing journey at a young age, training in tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, contemporary, and musical theatre. She trained extensively with The Young Canadians and gained great prowess in performing through that experience. Miss Nicole is a fully certified ADAPT and Acrobatic Arts instructor, having completed her certifications through their extensive training programs. She has been teaching for over ten years, and has shared and passed on her love and passion for dance with many students. Miss Nicole has had the opportunity to choreograph and perform for many theatre shows, including Front Row Center’s Young Frankenstein and Anything Goes. In 2017, she was awarded a CAT Award (Calgary Acts) for her outstanding choreography with Saucy Jack and The Space Vixens. Inspired by her dance training, Miss Nicole became certified in teaching Barre fitness classes and teaches at a local Barre Studio throughout the week. During the daytime hours, Miss Nicole can also be found at the Calgary Zoo, working with the otters, bears, cougars and wolves. After graduating from the University of Calgary with a degree in zoology, Miss Nicole became a zookeeper and has been a part of the animal care team ever since.
Miss Kate –
Miss Kate put on her first pair of ballet slippers at age three, and has been dancing ever since. Her passion for ballet landed her a full time position dancing with the prestigious National Ballet School of Canada, in Toronto. There, she trained under various ballet professionals, strengthening her technique and skill, while attending their academic school program for grades seven through nine. Upon her return home, Miss Kate danced intensively with the International School of Ballet (ISB) and the School of Alberta Ballet (SAB). During this time, she successfully completed her RAD Advanced 1 exam and danced in various roles in their school performances. Miss Kate has also danced professionally at Ballet Tucson, and worked as a trained professional in their company for four years. During her time at Ballet Tucson, she danced in roles for their productions of Cinderella, Swan Lake, the Nutcracker, and many others. Miss Kate also holds her Certificate of Ballet Teaching Studies (C.B.T.S.) through the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), making her a certified ballet teacher through their prestigious program.
Miss Victoria –
Miss Victoria has been dancing for as long as she can remember, and has trained competitively in jazz, ballet, musical theatre, lyrical, and contemporary. Miss Victoria has a passion for working with young children and is currently enrolled in the MRU Child and Youth Studies program, majoring in Early Childhood Education. She has experience teaching both dance and preschool classes and also has her government level two certification for teaching preschool. Miss Victoria grew up training under the ADAPT and RAD syllabi and has completed several of her dance exams. She currently holds both her ADAPT teaching certification and acrobatique teaching certification for the junior levels. One of her most exciting memories as a dancer, was competing in Las Vegas, and now as a teacher, she enjoys attending many workshops and professional development courses such as the Rhee Gold Dancelife Teacher Conference.
Miss Candice –
Miss Candice began her training at a young age, as both a gymnast and a dancer. After several years of competing as a competitive trampoline and tumbling gymnast, Miss Candice decided to solely focus on her dance education in jazz, ballet, tap, musical theatre, lyrical and contemporary. During her training, Miss Candice successfully completed many of her ADAPT jazz exams, and her RAD ballet exams, as well as she found great success as a competitive dancer. She has won several awards for her dancing, including cash scholarships for her solo performances. Miss Candice also holds her junior level acro teaching certification through Acrobatique. Miss Candice has also worked on Disney Cruise lines, where she was a children and youth programming coordinator on the Caribbean seas. She also has her level three Early Childhood Education Diploma, and has a degree in Child and Youth Studies through MRU. Along with teaching her regular classes at IC, Miss Candice is also program coordinator at Inn From The Cold, where she uses her many talents to oversee the child development team.
Miss Abbey –
Miss Abbey has been training in dance for most of her life, and has trained in jazz, tap, ballet, musical theatre, lyrical, contemporary, and hip hop. She has successfully completed many of her ADAPT Jazz and Tap Exams, as well as several RAD graded examinations. Miss Abbey also competed extensively while training, winning various awards for both her group and solo pieces. She has also trained with top Hip Hop choreographers from around the world, further igniting her passion for street jazz and hip hop. Miss Abbey is a certified junior level ADAPT instructor and she is also a student at Mount Royal University, and is enrolled in the Business Degree Program.
