Miss Bre

Miss Bre began dancing in her preschool years and has been inspired to share her love of dance ever since. Growing up, she trained and competed extensively in tap, jazz, ballet, musical theatre, lyrical, and contemporary. After many years of training, Miss Bre began teaching in2005, and opened the doors to Infinite Creations in 2014. She holds her ADAPT teaching certificate for tap and jazz, Acrobatic Arts certificates for teaching acro dance, is an active member and Event Coordinator for the WRDAA (Wild Rose Dance Arts Association), and is also a member of the American Dance Therapy Association (ADTA). She has taken with great success, her ADAPT jazz and tap Intermediate exams, her Al Gilbert tap exams (completing tap 8 with highest honours), and some of her RAD ballet exams. In 2007, Miss Bre was awarded with the Heather Simpson Memorial Scholarship, an award for excellence in teaching dance. Her favourite dance memory is performing in Disneyland in the Disney Magic Music Days. Miss Bre believes that learning is a lifelong journey and always finds various local and international professional development courses to attend. During her training years, Miss Bre would often travel to New York, where she would take classes under the direction of various broadway and industry professionals. In the new era of online training, she still continues to take classes as often as she can. Along with her dance training, Miss Bre also has her Bachelor of Arts degree with a minor in psychology from STMU, holds her Early Childhood Education Diploma (Level 3/Supervisor), and has her certificates in Handwriting Without Tears, Kindermusik, and Jolly Phonics. Miss Bre is ecstatic to lead the team at Infinite Creations and above all, she is excited to continue sharing her love of dance with all of her new and returning students!

Miss Kate

Originally from Calgary, Miss Kate put on her first pair of ballet slippers at age 3 and has been dancing ever since. She began her training at the International School of Ballet (ISB) and was accepted to Canada’s National Ballet School in Toronto at the age of 12. Miss Kate completed her training at the School of Alberta Ballet (SAB) in their Post-Graduate Program under Nancy and Murray Kilgour. She has had the opportunity to perform with Alberta Ballet, The National Ballet of Canada, and Ballet Tucson. Her repertoire includes many corps de ballet and soloist roles in ballets such as Swan Lake, Carmen, Cinderella, Don Quixote, and the Nutcracker. Upon retiring from dancing professionally, Miss Kate began teaching, and is passionate about passing on her knowledge and love of classical ballet to the next generation. She completed the Certificate of Ballet Teaching Studies through the Royal Academy of Dance in 2017 and is a registered R.A.D teacher. Not only is Miss Kate our Ballet Program coordinator at IC, she is also the co- director for our competitive program. Miss Kate is thrilled to be a team member at Infinite Creations, and is looking forward to sharing her talents, and passion for ballet with each of her students!

Miss Ally

Miss Ally has had a passion for dance since she was four years old and grew up training in ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, hip hop, and musical theatre. She has successfully completed her Intermediate 3 ADAPT exams in both Tap and Jazz, as well as her Advanced 1 RAD Ballet exam. She took part in her studio’s competitive team and has been honoured to win overall competition placements and scholarships to train at Harbour Dance Centre, the School of Alberta Ballet, and in Los Angeles. Her greatest memories as a dancer include travelling to Disneyland with her studio performance team, competing in Las Vegas, and performing in various productions of the Nutcracker with the School of Alberta Ballet and the Moscow Ballet. Miss Ally is in her final year of a dual degree program for a Bachelor of Arts in Dance combined with a Bachelor of Kinesiology with Honours at the University of Calgary. With this program, she is travelling to Ireland in the Fall to present her Honour’s thesis on the “Validity of the High Intensity Dance Performance Fitness Test in Undergraduate Contemporary Dancers” at the International Association for Dance Medicine and Science (IADMS) conference. Miss Ally has achieved many teaching certificates while at Infinite Creations, including her Healthy Dance Practice Certificate, Acrobatic Arts Module 1, and her ADAPT teacher certification in both jazz and tap. Miss Ally is thrilled to be with the team at Infinite Creations, and we are so excited to see her continue to inspire our students!

Miss Candice

Miss Candice began her training at a young age as both a gymnastand a dancer. After several years of competing as a competitive trampoline and tumbling gymnast, Miss Candice decided to solely focus on her dance education in jazz, ballet, tap, musical theatre, and lyrical. During her training, Miss Candice successfully completed several ADAPT jazz exams and RAD ballet exams. She also found great success as a competitive dancer. Miss Candice has won several awards for her dancing, including cash scholarships for her solo performances. Miss Candice holds her official Junior and Intermediate Acro teaching certificate through the ADTA (Acro Dance Teachers Association) and will be completing her Advanced certificate this upcoming year. Miss Candice has also worked on Disney Cruise lines, where she was a children and youth programming coordinator on the Caribbean seas. She also has her level three Early Childhood Education Diploma, and also holds a degree in Child and Youth Studies from Mount Royal University. This Fall, Miss Candice will be headed back to school to complete her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. Miss Candice divides her time between the studio, her studies, and working as an In-Home Family Support Worker, where she delivers programming to families related to parenting, trauma and attachment.  Miss Candice is excited to be back with the team at Infinite Creations, and she is looking forward to sharing her excitement for dance and performing arts with all of the students!

Miss Jay

Miss Jay started her dance training at ICDS many years ago. After several years of training in jazz, ballet, lyrical, hip hop and acro, Miss Jay followed her true passion and began her journey at one of Calgary's prestigious Hip Hop studios, UniverseSoul, training under various well known industry professionals including Goldie Wong, Alexander Chung, Dylan Mayoral and Gina Michel. During her time at UniverseSoul, Miss Jay competed with their Mega Crews, winning various high score and judges awards. Miss Jay still enjoys taking dance classes and attending various professional development opportunities to keep herself and her students inspired. Currently Miss Jay is in her second year of University at the U of C, working towards her Bachelor of Political Science Degree with a minor in Art History. We are thrilled to have her on our teaching team at IC, and Miss Jay looks forward to sharing her passion for dance with all of our students!

Miss Shannon

Miss Shannon has been dancing since the age of three and joined the Infinite Dance Family at the age of thirteen both as a competitive dancer and a STEP Team Member. She is a dedicated student and has trained in jazz, tap, ballet and lyrical and was also the recipient of several awards as a competitive dancer. Her most memorable moment as a dancer was travelling to Disneyland and performing with her dance family onstage, along with taking classes from the members of the Disney Performing Arts Faculty. Miss Shannon graduated from high school with both her English and French diplomas. This Fall, she will be in her second year at the University of Calgary, pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. She will also be continuing her education and growth as a dancer in various dance classes through the University. Miss Shannon is our first student to graduate from our STEP Team Program to our full teaching/admin team, and we are so excited for her to bring her experiences and knowledge to her work at Infinite Creations! This season, you will find her in the office, assisting all of the students and our dance families or as a sub in our dance classes. She can't wait to continue her dance journey at IC, and to keep inspiring our students!

Miss Alexa

Miss Alexa began her dance journey at age five, and it quickly became a great passion of hers. As a dancer, she competed for many years in jazz, tap, lyrical, and theatre productions. She credits dance for creating a lifetime of wonderful memories and friendships. Some of her best memories include winning an overall adjudicators showcase for a tap piece in 2016, and being a Starlight Performer in Mexico, where she performed a production number at a popular family resort. Miss Alexa spends her weekdays working as a designer for a construction company, and her weekends as our Dance Sessional Program Director! She is very excited to be a part of our students' dance journey and can't wait to see them create wonderful dance memories of their own!

Miss Cabri

Miss Cabri grew up in Calgary and has been dancing since the age of 5 and competing since the age of 7. She is a well versed dancer and has trained in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, Contemporary and Pointe. In addition to her training, Miss Cabri has successfully completed several RAD and ADAPT examinations, including the ADAPT Intermediate 3 Tap and Jazz Exams as well as the RAD Ballet Grade 8 and Advanced One Exams. As a student she performed with the Moscow Ballet in the performances of "Cinderella" and "The Great Russian Nutcracker". Her teaching experience began as a student teacher for four years and then as a teaching apprentice. Miss Cabri has completed her first year of ADAPT Teacher Training School (TTS),  and is also working towards completing her Healthy Dance Practice Certificate provided by Safe in Dance International. Miss Cabri recently graduated from the University of Calgary, where she is received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance with Distinction.  During her time in the University Dance Program, she has had the opportunity to train with various artists including Sasha Ivanochko, Christianne Ullmark, Laurie Taylor, Heather Ware, Marie France Forcier, Melanie Kloetzel and Melissa Monteros. She has also performed in Dance Montage, Dance@Noon, Dance@Night and Mainstage Dance throughout her time at U of C. Miss Cabri has also recently joined the Corps Bara Dance Theatre Company as an apprentice dancer. Miss Cabri is looking forward to sharing her experiences and talents with our students at IC!

Miss Korie

Miss Korie fell in love with dancing at a young age, and spent many years training in jazz, tap, ballet, musical theatre, lyrical, and hip hop. Miss Korie specializes in working with young children and is currently finishing her final year of her BA in Child Studies with a focus on early learning and development, and a minor in psychology. Miss Korie is an advocate for physical literacy in early childhood programs and has also completed her instructors training for kids yoga. Miss Korie has experience both as a dance teacher and as a preschool teacher in various programs throughout the city. She is also currently enrolled in the ADAPT Teaching Certification program for both  jazz and tap. One of her most exciting memories as a dancer was competing in Las Vegas! Miss Korie enjoys participating in professional development programs and has recently completed her mental health first aid through the Mental Health Commission of Canada. Upon completing her degree, Miss Korie would love to pursue her masters degree and become a child life specialist. Miss Korie is so excited to bring her experience and wealth of knowledge to our students at IC in both our Dance and CAP programs!
